DEATH were playing shit like The Four-Tops until they discovered what we now call “classic rock.” No label wanted to sign them with a name like DEATH. They refused to change it, which is why “For The Whole World to See” was lost to the general population until a recent reissue. Let that be a lesson to you kids- NO LABELS NO MASTERS.
these guys were the beginning of punk.
what badasses…the first time i listened to them was on a rooftop in brooklyn! drinking 40oz! ah the memories.
